I have my doubts it can be done in time and with the meager budget a
collegiate race has ($15/entry x 100entries) minus officials and misc
expenses (bathrooms being major).

Essentially meaning, if police are needed to be paid for, it wont work. That
date is 60days away.

If they proposed their course, that might help see if its worth going
forward.

In my opinion, I think the best venue is around the Stadium like we did in I
think 2007. We had no real issues, except April Messerly (WVU athletic
facilities manager is her title I think) didn't want the event and made a
lot of hurdles, and eventually never approved or denied the event which we
held and that infuriated her. She vowed to never let Cycling have an event
again. Theres a lot of details I can add.

I think making the race public and getting some support from the city might
make that happen and would be far less work and is a very good venue.
