I wish I could make this, unfortunately, it seems I've had something conflicting with each public meeting. I believe most of the plans already in the discussion are generally well-received by bike/ped community supporters and I personally thank you for your engagement.

I'd love to see an open discussion about DOH controlled roads as it relates to managing safety, traffic, and events within city limits. This may extend beyond the MMMPO purvue but it's a reoccurring issue I've heard even from city leaders in Charleston.

Additionally, Christiaan, you're also aware and a shared advocate of the desire to launch regular bike/ped open street events. Whether this is something that's an umbrella under city or another entity, I don't know, but it's definitely something I believe our community would enjoy and reap benefits.

Thank you again.

Sincerely,
Jesse

Friends - a quick reminder of tomorrow (Wed) night's final public meeting 6-8pm, Marilla Park center, for the countywide ped/bike plan. Should be a good one - and last opportunity to see priorities and give feedback.

There's also a steering committee meeting Thursday that at least a few of us on these lists is on. Please send us feedback too.
Christiaan
