Enter the Saris Bike Corral Photo Contest Saris will give one bike corral to the entry that shows the greatest need, most compelling location and strong public support of a bike corral. Simply submit a photo of where you would like to see a Saris Bike Corral and include a brief description of why you would like to see a bike corral in that location. A bike corral converts the space of one car parking stall to parking for 10 bikes. It’s a great use of space and a low cost option for more customer parking, it frees up sidewalk space for pedestrian foot traffic and communicates a commitment to bike friendliness. The Hopleaf Brewery is located in one of Chicago’s most bike focused neighborhoods. Many patrons arrive via bike throughout the year. Turning a loading zone into bike parking for 12 bikes has provided a boost for business at the brewery and has added to the streetscape of the neighborhood. The Andersonville bike corral is part of a parklet designed as part of Chicago’s People Spot program. Custom logo plates promote Andersonville’s bike friendliness.
