We had a lovely meeting last week and our plans for bike month are shaping up. The events committee will meet tomorrow, 7pm, at Panera Bread in Suncrest. We need help with the following events and plans:

The bike rodeo in particular will be a major event. We plan to give 125 helmets away and host it out at the Mountaineer Mall. We have big plans and lots of partners already on this, but we still need your help!

Most other events / days will look like they have in the past. Our other major goal for this meeting is to develop a "host your own bike to work day" packet. We will send this out to champions at major local employers to encourage the proliferation of commuter stations (that don't require our direct supervision or volunteer time!). It will also include promotional materials for our other events.

Also, I made a facebook group to reduce email on the bike board list. Check it out. I'll send out a more formalized announcement about this later.
