Last night’s meeting was a success as we discussed updates
to the Bike Plan which scope continues to be refined as data collection takes
place. MPO will continue to take the lead, and the Bike Board will provide
suggestions where appropriate. Additionally, we received updated information on
the upcoming Bike/Pedestrian Count. The primary focus of the upcoming
Bike/Pedestrian Count is on pedestrians in high traffic intersections which
will include 40 different locations with 6hrs/day of continuous counting over
two consecutive days. Board members are encouraged to continue/take part in
discussions regarding ways to make bike/pedestrian counts, and any suggestions
they may have for the upcoming count.
