Please find attached a MS Word version of the Bicycle Board's proposed application to the League of American Bicyclists for recognition of Morgantown as a Bicycle Friendly Community.  The Bicycle Board thoroughly reviewed and approved this application.   

Last night, I  presented the application to the Traffic Commission and asked the commissioners to send me comments or changes at their convenience.  

The deadline for submission to LAB is February 17 but I'd like to submit it no later than Feb. 10 to ensure that they receive it.  

I respectfully request that you review the attached, mark it up using Comments and Track Changes and return it to me at your earliest convenience.  I would especially request that you carefully review and update pages 1-3 that provide the community profile.  

As we've discussed, the actual application must be submitted to an on-line form.  Click here to see a pdf version.  At, http://www.bikeleague.org/programs/bicyclefriendlyamerica/communities/apply.php I have already created an account under the name of MorgantownWV.  I am planning to transcribe the data from your approved version of the attached to the on-line form but if you want to do it, please call me and I'll tell you the password or, you could create another account.

If and when I receive any comments or suggested changes from Traffic Commissioners, I will send them to you immediately upon receipt.
