Building upon the state bike route connectivity idea, maybe the signs should go on the routes that would connect cyclists from around the state (and out of state) - per Frank's recent email: "We all reached consensus for Tuesday to support improvements on those corridors with Rts. 100 and 857 being the highest priorities"

Thus, my recommendation would be to sign those two routes as they may be the most trafficked, or whichever routes the state DOH agrees to designate as "bike routes" (or whatever other designation they choose). That said, I'm not sure the best place that would welcome people to Morgantown on rte 100 (crossing Westover bridge?) or 857 (705 from Mileground as recommended?).
Just my 2 cents. Such great momentum for cycling - thanks to all for the hard work!

I would think there’s 3 main entrys. From Star City, Mileground, and Don Knotts.

Don Knotts has RT in view, and also has STR signage.  705 from Mileground has signage, does Mileground?  Going to Coll from Star City would be a top pick for me, but would happen to be on one of the worst places to ride for most; there is a WVU Cycling Adopt a Highway sign at the Corner in front of Sheetz in Granville.

BB Members,
Similar, but not exact to what Chip stated, I think the best locations to place our new signs are near the Coliseum on Mon Blvd and near the Westover Bridge on University Ave. One other option may be at the 705 and Van Voorhis intersection.

Bicycle Board Members,

See attached photo.  I got 2 of these signs in the mail today.  What should I do with them?  I'd like to get a picture of all of us putting one up somewhere.  Any ideas where and when?  I'm sure we'll have to ask the Public Works Dept. for permission and help.
