University Avenue Steering Committee Members,

 

We are in the process of scheduling the next University Avenue Complete Streets Steering Committee Meeting, the Design Workshop for the Study and a growth mapping exercise. We are proposing to hold the meetings either August 26^th-27^th or August 31^st-September 1^st.  We would appreciate your feedback on which dates would be good for you and which dates you feel will help us maximize participation.

 

Please let me know your preference by responding to this email by close of business Tuesday July 14^th so we can schedule these meetings.

 

A description of the meetings follows:

 

Day One

 

-Open Design Workshop 10 AM-7 PM This session will be open for the public and Steering Committee members to meet with the consultants to discuss concerns with the corridor and specific locations. This session will include the development of preliminary graphics for the corridor.

 

Day Two

 

-Open Design Workshop 8 AM-11:30 AM-Continuation of previous session for Steering Committee members and the Public.

 

-Growth Mapping Meeting 1 PM-3PM-Members of the development community, City Staff, WVU Staff, and others as appropriate, meet to provide the consultants with insight into planned growth in the area.

 

-Steering Committee Meeting 5:30 PM-7 PM-Update on information gathered at Walkabout and 1 on 1’s, Project Schedule, and information gathered during the Design Workshop.
