For your information
As we discussed at the last MPO meeting there were
some
concerns that the recent improvement to WV 705 between Stewartstown and
the
Mileground did not sufficiently address cyclists potential use of the
road. I
spoke informally to the local DOH Traffic Engineer today and he
informed me
that they will be installing Share the Road Sign on the facility in the
next
two months. I should have more detailed information in this matter in
the next
couple of weeks. This should make the situation a little better for
cyclists in
the area.
