Bicycle Board Members,
For those of you that have not completed the Traffic Skills
101 course, if you want to complete the on-line course at http://www.bikeed.org and then do the hands on
part at the Coliseum and on local roads, I will schedule the Coliseum for Saturday,
February 13, 2010 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. We will meet at the Coliseum
Room 252, learn and practice crash avoidance maneuvers in the parking lot and
then practice traffic skills in… traffic! Please reply ASAP.
If another date would suit you better, let me know.
Also, I’m conducting the full live course here in
Morgantown Sat. 2/27 8:30 am – 4:30 pm and Sun. 2/28 8:30 am –
Noon and you’re welcome to participate. I currently have 4 likely participants
so have room for up to 2 more. This should be an interesting class
because at least 3 of the participants are taking the course so they can then
attend the League Cycling Instructor (LCI) seminar to become LCIs. That
means they’ll probably bring much knowledge with them to share.
They’re from Parkersburg, Wheeling and Erie.
