Sounds interesting. Let me know how I can help.
We have a really nice group of a dozen or so kids that ride to Mountainview Elementary School...maybe we could build on that and South Middle's success?

Good Morning,

The email communication below, was received by the Planning Division last night/this morning. This may be a ripe banana issue for tonight, but here are the basics: $250 and city promotion of the event results in an American Heart Association sponsored bicycle training/information event.

Thanks!

Hello, Stacy. My name is Maia and I'm with the public health alliance for beginner cyclists, My City Bikes.

In 2017 we'll be implementing a landmark beginner bike event - 31 rides in 31 cities on each of the 31 days of National Bike Month. Morgantown has been selected as a possible flagship community for this historic bike event. The Life is a Cycle event series will:
  • Provide a beginner-friendly adult biking event.
  • Showcase and celebrate local bike infrastructure.
  • Educate entry-level riders in real time.
2017 Life is a Cycle destinations are limited to the first 31 communities to register before the deadline on Nov. 21. Visit http://lifeisacycle.bike/files/theme/2017-Life-is-a-Cycle-Ride-Local-Govt.pdf for the info packet to learn more about how you can reserve a Life is a Cycle event for your community.

We will be scheduling Q&A phone meetings to answer questions and discuss details about the event. To reserve a Q&A meeting and discuss the program, please visit http://mycitybikes.setmore.com/ to schedule an appointment.

We are excited to work with you to grow cycling communities across the nation, and look forward to speaking with you soon about being a part of this historic bike event!

Thanks,
Maia
