Jing,

Thanks for setting up this meeting.

Board,

Please consider attending this meeting and doing some homework before you do so. We are especially interested in those of you who were not necessarily familiar with the original proposed locations but who are familiar with Morgantown roads. This meeting will provide you an intimate opportunity to shape and expand the most significant cycling infrastructure investment Morgantown has ever seen.

There are two main reasons for investing more time into this grant and planning process. First, we may have leftover funds from the bus shelter installations and, thusly, we need to refine and expand the list of proposed locations for sharrows and bicycles may use full lane signs to utilize these funds. Second, and perhaps more importantly, these locations and this grant were originally devised from a process that began more than 8 years ago. Our transportation network and our municipal, state, and federal funds to support its maintenance and development have since drastically changed.

Thanks for your time and consideration! You can review the current proposed locations in the various files I attached below.

Best,
Drew

Hi, Bicycle Board Members

As discussed in the board meeting last night, Frank and I will meet to verify the GIS date for the locations of proposed BMUFL signs and sharrows that will be installed on numerous streets in the Morgantown area.

Here is the link to the doodle poll of the meeting. Please take the poll before next Tuesday.

It will be a 90 minutes meeting on Feb 8th, Wednesday in the MPO office (Room 110, the Courthouse on High St).  Depending on the doodle poll, it will start at 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, or 3:00 pm.

Please be aware that the meeting will cancelled unless there is at least one board member, besides Frank and me, is willing to join the meeting.

If you have any question, please let me know.

Thank you!
